Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and animal rights activist. The actress has won praise for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). The desire to become an artist was in part influenced from her childhood as a member of an New York family of artists. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. The award she received was her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies she was deemed as the top female performer in box office history. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw is divorced three times.
