Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the author of a number of well-known American cooking books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which began in 2002. Ina began her career in writing nuclear energy policies and budgets for the White House. Though she found the career interesting initially, she eventually lost her interest in it and bought a tiny specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. After selling the store the store, she worked for more than 18 years building it to a highly successful store. Several other books and magazines followed. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut which was an enormous hit. The company also offers a wide range of product from cooking ingredients as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has never gone to a cooking academy or been in a kitchen. Her name is associated with her casual approach to cooking and entertaining. Her most famous recipes are the lemon chicken that she grills in a skillet and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
